Best Shops for Affordable Throw Pillow Covers

My husband always tells me that I have champagne taste on a beer budget. This is never more evident than with home decor. However, I have had to learn how to find beautiful and cozy home decor without selling my arm in the process. Throw pillows are no exception. I have searched high and low for throw pillow covers that are well made, bring Jesus into the home, and match my decor style while being conscientious of price. And I’m here to share with you my finds and best places for affordable throw pillow covers so you can continue decorating your cozy home.

For those of you who don’t know, my decor style is an odd mix between modern boho and farmhouse. Several of these shops and throw pillow covers can fit in many different styles as well. However, the specific throw pillows you’ll see will better match the boho farmhouse style.

1. PCB Home

As you may know already, I love decorating my home in a way that points to Jesus. In my decorating adventures, I have found a handful of places that sell throw pillow covers with beautiful hand lettered verses or quotes that bring His truth right into your home. PCB Home is one of my absolute favorite shops for throw pillow covers.

Their affordable throw pillow covers start at $20 for a 16×16. While this may sound like a lot at first, in reality, it’s not a bad price… not for a small business, a handmade pillow cover, and great quality. And the best part, you get a 20% coupon when you sign up for their emails! So your $20 pillow cover just became a $16 throw pillow cover. Amazing!

They also have a handful of sales throughout the year, as well as the occasional coupon for things sitting in your basket or for being an email subscriber.

Her hand lettering is beautiful and several of her throw pillow covers are encouraging and biblical reminders we all need.

2. Hobby Lobby

Friends, I found a gem spot in Hobby Lobby a few months ago thanks to my sweet mother. Hobby Lobby already has cozy throw pillows intermixed with their decor items. And usually, you can find a good sale on them (or at least a 40% off coupon).

However, there is another spot in their store with amazing throw pillow covers.

If you head to the sewing/fabric section of their store, mosey around until you find their affordable throw pillow covers. Each cover is folded in a plastic wrap, but they each have pictures on the packaging (and you can open them a little to feel the throw pillow cover if need be). When they’re 50% off, you can get throw pillow covers – one’s that could easily cost $50 – for $10.

I bought 2 throw pillow covers from Hobby Lobby for a total of $20. Do you see what I mean? These pillow covers could have easily cost me $30-50 each.

3. Boho Babe Living

This is a sweet little shop that supports artisan crafted items. The throw pillows from Boho Babe Living are gorgeous and the quality is something you won’t find in stores. The cheapest I’ve seen her pillows are $24. However, for a handmade, artisan crafted pillow cover, these are worth every penny.

I have never felt a pillow cover that is both thick and sturdy, yet soft and silky. With two dogs, I’m not worried that this pillow cover will get ruined because of how great the quality is.

The designs on these pillows are great for the boho/farmhouse look as well. Most of her items are geared towards the boho look, but there are a few throw pillow covers that will work well with other decor styles.

4. The Daily Grace Co.

You may have already heard me talk several times about The Daily Grace Co. Usually I spend time directing you toward their Bible studies and Bible study tools. But did you know they also sell throw pillow covers?

Their pillow covers are so cute and I love that they incorporate God’s Word with the home decor they sell. Their pillow covers are durable – they use PCB Home’s handmade pillow covers – and will go with any style of home decor due to their natural style.

And of course, with their many sales and review coupons, you never have to pay the full price of their throw pillow covers.

5. Walmart and Target

I’m lumping these two shops into one because I’ll say the same about both. Walmart’s throw pillows have been getting better and better, while the prices have stayed the same. Target’s can get a little expensive at times however. But either way, if you take time to look through both clearance sections, you’ll be surprised to find some beautiful and affordable throw pillow covers for a lot cheaper than they would normally cost. You could spend as little as $5 on a cute throw pillow.
