Romans 8:35 – “For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

When you need to rest in God’s timing…

When you need strength to endure…

Romans 5:3-5 – “Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.”

Isaiah 41:10b – “I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

Psalm 23 – “The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercies shall follow me all the days of my life and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”

When you’re anxious…

Philippians 4:6-7 – “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.”

If you’re enduring a season of deployment, away from your husband and tasked with keeping life going at the homefront, look to Jesus for your source of strength. He is with you in this. He planned this season to happen. He will bring you through it. Remember it’s only a season, you won’t be enduring this forever. Don’t be anxious, but trust in the Lord – trust His timing, His purpose, and that He’ll equip you.

I encourage you to memorize a handful of these verses. Do a Bible Verse Study for the ones that speak to you the most. Make it a habit to spend time in God’s Word daily, being in constant communication with Him throughout the day.

You are strong! Whether it’s your first season of deployment or your 20th, you’ve got this because Christ is with you.
