Putting Jesus into Halloween – Trick-Or-Treat Stickers

Halloween, the one day of the year that multitudes of people will come to our house, a house that is filled with the love of Christ. Though they won’t step into our house to accept the candy we are offering, it’s a perfect opportunity to be intentional with our faith! I was thinking a lot about how my husband and I could be putting Jesus into Halloween as the little kids go trick-or-treating. There’s hardly any time to have long conversations, but what if I could just get a quick message out? I’m already giving them candy, so why not a little blurb about Jesus that even a little 5 year old would understand? I know…TRICK-OR-TREAT STICKERS!

Free Printable Just For You!

I created three little stickers to put on each piece of candy. And the best part? You can have them! Just download the printable at the bottom and you can do it too! They’re created so you can either print them on little label stickers (just your typical Avery Standard 1”x2.63” labels) or you can print them on printer paper, cut them out, and tape it to the candy. I didn’t have any label stickers, so I cut and taped each one to candy, with the help of my husband. I thought it was going to take a lot longer than it did. Have your kids help or your husband and it will be a quick little project:)

Each little sticker is planting a seed for whoever sees it, telling them about Jesus. It may seem a little cliché, but it’s a seed and it’s being intentional. A pastor from our past said that on average, those who are saved became saved after the sixth time of hearing about the Gospel or about Christ. My prayer is that even one kid will read the little sticker, tuck it in the back of their mind, and have it be one of those six times they hear about Christ for the day that Jesus calls him/her to be His child. Wouldn’t that be so amazing???

It’s not just for the kids. A parent might see it as they’re trick-or-treating with their child or when they’re rummaging through their little ones’ candy. There’s another possible seed.

So I encourage you to take full advantage of this free printable. You never know who might need it!

Have fun!
